To Warwick Crescent; Pen Browning, then enter the great Robert, who greets me warmly and gives me ‘Dramatis Personæ.’ He commended Bloomfield with reservation—‘Not so poetical as some of your things—but O so clever.’ We talk of Tennyson, etc.
