My dear Gabriel

Before all, I confiscate the lovely autograph.

Next, I am truly pleased at the honour done me by Miss Gabriel and Mr Browning; and Echo, expectant, awaits her musical echoes. It is quite a pleasing variety to be asked for something that is mine, instead of for Uphill or the Birthday.

Thanks for the scraps of welcome home news. We expect Uncle Henry back tomorrow.
