Dear Sir—I have thought you might derive some satisfaction from knowing what communication I made to your friend Dr. Nuttall. I have therefore taken the liberty of sending you a copy of it [1] —any mis-statement or omission which may have inadvertently occurred you will be enabled to correct and supply—that the Doctors mind may not be misled in it’s conclusions by a want of precision and fact, in the details of this interesting case, for the removal of which you have my most hearty wishes.
