I am very sorry, My dear M. Milsand, to miss you to-night, and still more sorry that you should be ill—tell me exactly how you are.

I have just heard from Robert—and one Pall Mall is arrived—but others to which he alludes, I fear there is no chance of getting.

I hope you will be able to let me have Claire on Tuesday. My father continues better.
