My dearest Henrietta–

I am delighted to have an opportunity of giving you a good account of dearest Ba[.] She is certainly considerably better within these two days, though her spasms and paroxisms are very much the same. Her pulse is however lower and much more regular, her spasms or catchings much less frequent, and her eyes as strong as ever they were, her apetite is most capital and it is with the greatest difficulty she can be prevented from talking. Jane recommended as a certain cure for all such disorders, a good mutton pie well seasoned. Pray write to me soon and give me an account of your young canaries, we have not yet on account of the weather been able to take the cage back but I rather think the man will not take it back. Granny and all of us join me in best love to you and all the dear petts—beleive me my dearest Henrietta yours very affectionately
