Dear Mrs Abraham

Dr Kynaston is a lucky man to have got you to canvass for him, but even to you I cannot promise my vote beforehand. It is now said that Browning is going to stand, and if he stands I must certainly vote for him. I know nothing but what is good of Dr Kynaston, but Browning seems to me altogether the more powerful personage.

I hope the Sunday afternoon I visit you this year you will not be out.
