My dearest Henrietta.
Our darling Ba slept well last night, and has been very Comfortable in all respects but the spasms, which however have been Mild– She had a chicken for dinner today, & for some days has drunk Milk Whey for breakfast & tea, & with her dinner– She likes it much, and it agrees very well with her– We have not heard from Bro today as we Expected, but Ba has had a letter from Bum with Accts of more bridal gifts, & the Certainty of Jane’s Marriage on Thursday– Storm walked today with Papa to Robins Hood Well, & had some excellent brown bread & butter & Milk; Sam has been twice at the Cathedral to Enjoy the singing, & the female party have staid at home. Ba made me tell her all you said & did while I was at home, & seemed better Amused by it than any other subject– I read her prayers to her today & the bible, & she has altogether been very comfortable– I was surprized to find a fire in her room; the whole house seems very Clean & comfortable now– Jane the Housemaid is still here, & the same Cook, so that we perceive little difference in the change of tenants– I sincerely hope to hear tomorrow that the poor Daisy M is better, & Mrs Orme free from head aches– All here desire loves & kisses[.] After dinner Storm fell sound asleep, worn out by his walk of six Miles, which he would not allow had tired him– Ba begs you will go to the school & examine for her the petticoats & Stockgs of Ann |Hespin|, & Elizh Hanford. Ba is getting some things to send, & wishes you to let her know the exact state of their Wardrobes.
God bless all my beloved Children– Remember me very kindly to Mrs O—in great haste, My own Henriettas
