My ever dear Storm
Who was born on this day,
I can hardly make any thing out of my heart to say
But as it snows
I must take a repose.
In the arm chair,
Like you sir.
As it is your birthday,
We must away to play.
I hope that this letter will do,
For such a fellow as you.
But I hope that you will,
Not make me stand still.
But let me breakfast with you,
My little jew.
Many happy days,
To you allways.
Your ever affectionate Sam
who leaps the headges like a ram.
Address, on integral page: For dearest Storm / Dinning room.
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: Berg Collection.
