Friday March 27th [1868]
Dearest Janie,
Your letter of Feb. 24th was very welcome …
I have just been downstairs, & what do I see but a card of Roberts—I am in a fury—I gave such strict orders he was always to be let in. He will never come again now. This is the third time he has been sent away.
Publication: None traced.
Manuscript: India Office Records.
