Oh come my muse

And o’er my soul peruse

Pray tell the news

That is in my heart

For it is far beyond my part

Oh say what love I bear

To whom? except my mère

For whom this day I offer up my prayer

And may it very soon be granted

For virtues in her is indeed strongly planted

And may she have her hearts desire

Which fills her eyes with sparkling fire

And puts new harp strings to her lyre

Which is to see dear Ba once up again

Breathing the fresh air that breathes the Wren
