Nature awake, & awaken sweet spring, throw off thy wintry veil, and display thy beauty; “This is Thy glorious work Parent of good. Almighty, Thine this universal frame how wondrous fair Thyself how wondrous then, unspeakable.“ Oh nature revive, expand, rejoice, behold thy happiest days, behold sweet spring when none can help rejoicing. Ye animals of all kind, not less perfect than all created by Him, who is perfection, rejoice when I tell you your happy Season is arrived. And now like me rejoice in seeing Nature spread its sunny wings in peace, free from cold winter’s blasts, in seeing both Bipeds & Quadrupeds in their full state of enjoyment; let me rejoice above all for the blessings this day has bestowed on us, let me give thanks for the blessing we have been gifted with– Yes, this is dearest Mama’s birthday and may I pray that she may live to see many of these happiest days enjoying the same good health Heaven has hitherto blessed her with, & may I hope she does love
