Sweet Little Alfred

I wish you many happy returns of this day and hope you will love your Heny as much as he loves you. I hope we shall have some famous fun today, and drink tea with Papa and Mama and play at cards with them. We will have a ride on Moses but I hope he will not be so uncivil as to kick us off on your birthday. I must now wish you good bye your affectionate

Heny

Address, on integral page: To / The little rogue / Alfred / on his birthday / Hope End.
