My dearest Mama

I beg your pardon for not writing before, but I could not write to Henrietta either. I suppose you are often seeing Bumy come from Cheltenham in her cart and James with her; I will soon see them now, Bro will soon get a Præpositus now for there are four wanted. We are coming Home on the 5th of August, which is very near now. We have got such beautiful days here, so very hot, that we cannot play at cricket. Tell Papa that I have got my new clothes from Mr Canon, for my other ones are so very bad; they fit me very, for he saw me with them on. Give my best love to Seppy and your Peacocks. Love to all also. The bell calls me into School so I must be gone[.]
