My dearest Mama

I am much better today and I will soon be quite well for Tippy is such a good Doctor she gives me my Phisick every three hours never loses a minute. the holidays begin next Thursday so you must get Ba and Henrietta from Cheltenham. I hope you will not be angry with me for not writing before but I really have not had time. Bro looks quite a dandy now with a long taile [sic] coat and Tippy has given him a pair of striped trousers. Monies is talking about going to Hope End perhaps he will come down at the same time we do we will have capital fun if he will. Doctor Nuttle is going to take me a ride in his Gig for he will not let me walk so it is all fair he is starving me like he did last year for he will not let me eat a morsel of meat. I suppose that Papa has very nearly got all his hay in now, for I hear that Molly Brown is waiting to kiss me so I suppose it is hop picking. we will just come in time for the corn and all the fun. I suppose that you had capital fun at Kinersley I wish I had been with you. Give my best love to every body for there are to[o] many to tell you their names I have not got any news to tell you for there is none that I know of so I must wish you good bye
