You have given me my christian name

So I must be good and not be to blame

And if I do tease and bother you

You will not love me and that will be quite new

My dearest mama for what you have taught me

I cannot be too much obliged to thee

My dearest mama I will love thee

for you are so very kind to me

And I hope it will be a very fine day

For I want to have some nice play

Now dear mama I will be adieu

And I will always be kind to you
