Happy happy is this day,

As it is your birthday.

Some more hashed duck to day I hope there’l be,

That you may eat your fill and leave the rest for me.

2. The Sun doth shine to day and makes the trees look green,

And also doth it make your face look quite serene,

Many more happy days I hope you’l spend,

Until it pleases him your life to end.

Many happy returns of your birthday and I hope you will excuse me for this short scribble for it is as much as my head can afford.
