I hope you recd my last sent thro my Friend Mr Maule an old Master of Hounds, and a promoter of Fox hunting in every branch– I here with enclose The |Blunto| for my ten copies, but Nicoll may read the ten down, as I shall get rid of Nine, and remit him the Nine “rum screens” afterwards–
We have had some very fine weather lately when there must have been a scent– I wish you wd call on my Friend (old Timothy) alias Maule 9 Cornwall terrace Regents Park his acquaintance I can assure you in every way is worth having, his is quite fly to all sort of lark[.] Keeps a first rate shop both in and out of London where I am certain he wd be glad to see you were he acquainted with you, So do call on him he is MP for the County of Forfar and behaved in the handsomest way possible to me when I hunted the County, and he is not a Count in any individual way, but the Prototype of an honest John Bull not unlike old John |Wande| —— I do not despair yet at seeing you in the Forrest I think no more of a run there than I do to London or Bath and now we can do it 68 hours the ground is |sour| workd Let me know when you go down to The Forrest and if you have met old Timotheus to be introduced to him[.]
