My ever dearest Henrietta
I hope you will excuse me for not answering your letter before, but <a>s you know my regular day is on <Sa>turday you will excuse me. Our feast is to be a very grand one, as first of all we are going [to] a play, and then going to have a feast, stay up all night, so send me as many cold things as Bro can shoot, and send me some cold tarts like last time, and beg Georgy for a bottle of Gooseberry Wine; mind let me have it if you can by Thursday night—mind and do not forget to put Papa in mind of sending me my travelling money by Saturday, do not ask him, but give him some broad hints, as I am certain he will forget, and then I shall be in a pretty pickle. I had a letter yesterday from Tippy and she says Granny is much better since she has been at Hastings. Nevermind about the money now, they have got money enough and have paid for it they are going to give it to Watkey next week. I think it will be capital to bare out in the cottage a whole night, without Mr Dailey spies us with his gun and takes us for a gang of thiefs. Write directly and let me know whether you can send me a parcel, for I must know by Wednesday. Give my best love to all of them. You will hear once more before you see me. Luck to Bro’s shooting.
