Very grateful am I when I think of all I possess & doubly so when I feel what I deserve how many are the blessings that surround me! I could not tell them all but the one I cherish most is the affection of those so dear to me, but my heart fails me, shall I, can I still hold it when every day I become less worthy of it!

Oh may I find that assistance which can only make me fit for all your love! Beloved Stormy your’s is not the last I pray to have confirmed to me, believe me, that you may live the life of Methuselah (if long residence here be conducive to your happiness) & that each day we may find ourselves still dearer to each other is one of the first & most fervent prayers of
