I’ll try with all my might and main,
Tho’ all my powers may be in vain,
To greet your birthday with a verse,
Your many virtues to rehearse.

I’ll pick some snow drops for your chair,
And with sweetness fill the air,
I fear I can’t procure a pink,
T’is not their season yet I think.

O’ sweet child! You are most dear,
And very good as well as fair
But Septy, I must say adieu,
With pray love me, as I love you!
