Accept my dearest Otte one short but true & heartfelt line on this your birthday; it cannot tell you more than how I love you, unless it dare to add a tale from school … that you are one of those most loved, & that in my daily prayers your name is not forgotten. In those, I pray that you & we not only now, but through eternity, may think of this birthday as “twice blessed.”
