Return Oh! day of bliss, you have come again smiling through all your beauties, decked in all your charms, your verdant banks, your gaudy flowers, your shady trees, y<our> singing birds, you make all thi<ngs> happy, you are our happiness.

The last time we saw you, you were very dear to us, but surely now you are still dearer, the last time, we did not know if we should see you more, or if you would only bring your loveliness to mock us, but still you make our happiness yours; you once have blessed us, & do rejoice that you have done so, <&> will you always give us joy <like> this? you smile, & seem to say I will—Oh happiness too great! Oh much loved day!
