Every heart is full, every voice is strained at the renewal of this happy day[!] I hear the gladd[e]ning sound and cheerful voices saying “Come let us celebrate this day, the anniversary of our dearest Henrietta”[.] Who is it that cannot feel happy on such a day as this? none, except those who do not know what day it is. How many grateful feelings ought we to feel towards Him who has gifted us with a sister so well deserving of our love and who is ever showing fresh tokens of her affection toward us. That my dearest Henrietta may have many many happy returns of her birthday, and continue to be as virtuous as she is now, that she may reach that peaceful state of bliss in which she well ever be happy are the fervent and m<ost> sincere wishes of her ever
