Know all Men by these Presents That I Robert Browning of the Bank of England in the City of London Esquire am
held and firmly bound to Thomas Ayrton of Princes Street Bedford row in the County of Middlesex Gentleman in the Sum of One hundred and Twenty pounds
of good and lawful Money of Great Britain To be paid to the said Thomas Ayrton or his certain Attorney Executors Administrators or Assigns For which Payment to be well and faithfully made I bind myself my Heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them firmly by these Presents Sealed with my Seal Dated this Eleventh day of May in the Twenty fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Eighty four
The Condition of the Obligation is such that if the above bounded Robert Browning his Heirs Executors or Administrators or any or either of them shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the above named Thomas Ayrton his Executors Administrators or Assigns the full Sum of Sixty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain together with lawfull Interest for the same in manner following that is to say the Sum of Fifteen pounds part thereof On the Twenty ninth day of September next ensuing the date of the above Obligation, The further Sum of Fifteen pounds more thereof on the twenty fifth day of December then next ensuing, The further Sum of Fifteen pounds other part thereof on the Twenty fifth day of March which will be in the year of our Lord 1785 And the remaining Sum of Fifteen pounds together with Interest on the said Sum of Sixty pounds on the Twenty fourth day of June then next ensuing Then this Obligation to be void or else to be and remain in full force and Virtu.

Received 7 Janry 1785 of the above named Robert Browning Fifteen Pounds the second payment on the within Bond

Recieved 2d April 1785 of the above named Robert Browning Fifteen Pounds the third payment on the within Bond
Thos Ayrton
Received 5th July 1785 of said Mr Browning Seventeen Pounds 7s/ in full for all Principal & Interest due on the within Bond
