My dear Sir
I regret I did not know you were in town or I should certainly have forwarded the enclosed letter which has been in my possession for Several days.
In reply to your enquiry, I beg to inform you that Mr Willink has sent a remittance of £230 which is at your disposal–
I cannot do myself the honor of calling on you tomorrow as I am going into Kent till Monday: I shall however certainly wait upon you on Wednesday at 10 o’clock; in the meantime I shall be most happy to execute any commissions which you may have occasion to require at my hands–
