Dear Sir
I have the honor herewith to transmit a requisition signed by the principal Inhabitants of this district in which they have taken leave to beg of you to call a meeting of the inhabitants on an early day, for the purposes herein stated[.] Should you be pleased to comply with this I shall have pleasure in forwarding the same, if possible, in such time as to ensure its insertion in the Papers of Saturday.–
