Sir

On the 4 Novr last I wrote to you requesting payment of a Debt due to Messr Weld & Louthin of New Bond St upon which an Action had been brought and Judgment recovered on the 4th June 1823.

Not hearing from you I write again to request you will by return of the Mail forward me the amount as stated below. [1]

You will observe the Debt is continually increasing as we are entitled to interest from the date of the Judgment till payment, and the longer payment is deferred the more you will eventually have to pay.

If I do not receive the money in due course I shall take measures to proceed against you in the Colony[.]
