I agree to leave to William Halliday Carpenter my apprentices Charles Tims, Louisa Marshall |Ratty|, Charlotte, Elvia Brown; & William Murray for the remainder of their term of apprentic[e]ship—and I make over to the said William Halliday all outstanding wages due by them to me on condition that the said William Halliday do pay to me one half of the rent |prop[er]ty| & wages arising from the said abovementioned Apprentices[.]
