I have recd your favor respectg Affairs of Mr Williams & Dick Waite, having found a Case with opinion of Court, which includes all the Heads of the Trust Deed which I imagine will answer every purpose you want, it will be necessary you should leave a full power when you leave the Island, both as Executrix to Mr Williams & for yourself. I before mentioned, it would give me pleasure to give your agent in this Country my advice & assistance when necessary, but would recommend it to you to appoint some one to take of the drudgery, Alex Ricketts might be that person as you have confidence in him, whenever it is necessary for me to act, I can easily qualify as Mr William’s Executor of course the power from you to your Atty. will be sufficient. I am sorry to find that Mr Roach has acted ill to Tom Williams & in conformity to your desire shall get a young man & will send him down to you. I will bring down with me the Receipt for Chamber’s Bond. Billy Plummer send your negroes a fo[r]tnight since. Mrs Lockhead’s case is distressing, perhaps I may point out a place where they may be |dined| when I see you. I am yours sincerely,
