Dear Sir,

We send herewith Invoice & Bill of Lading for sundries shipped on your Account p David Lyon, Capt. Selby, amounting to £387.8.8 and we hope that you will receive the several articles in good order–

We also send a Bill of Sale for the transfer of your 1/8th of the David Lyon to Miss Barrett, which you will be so good as to execute in the presence of two Witnesses, one of whom had better be Capt Selby, that he may be able to do what is necessary in case of a formal proof of the execution being required by the Custom House here– As this share will not be the property of Miss Barrett legally, until it has been transferred to her by the Bill of Sale, we shall make the usual Insurance upon it, to guard against any accident by which your intention in her favour may possibly be defeated–
