Dear Sir,

I have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 17th Inst with the enclosure. I feel obliged by your sending me Mr Aikmans opinion respecting the valuation of the Stock, it appears just and fair. I purpose being at Cinnamon Hill about the 5th or 6th Feby and shall be glad as soon as convenient after, to have the Stock valued, and the Emblements of the Crop arranged.
