Dear Sir,
I now enclose to you the affidavit required to ground the application for the Writ of Emblements on Cinnamon Hill and Cornwall plantations, which you will please to swear to before a Judge or Commissioner of the Grand Court and return to me by post.
You will oblige me by saying you if you will be prepared with evidence in the commencement of March (when the Solicitors attend the Assizes) to prove the value of the Crop, as if it cannot be satisfactorily ascertained at present it might be better to obtain the Writ for the July Court.
