Dear Sir

I have recd your two favors and did not reply to you—first it had been my intention to wait on you at Cinnamon Hill having to meet Mr Dewar at Little River, I went there on Wednesday, and ascertained you were residing at M. Bay.

I am at a loss to acct for the nonpayment of the £220 order I shewed Mr Jentiles yesterday my two last letters from Messers. |Languetti| & Brothers but they do not receive the draft. I [illegible word] hopes to hear this day’s post from them, and shall send you the £220 in Check on Wednesday by Mr Castles–

I sent Messrs L & Brothers an order to receive £1000 from me
