My dear Sir

I am sorry we are not to see you at the Retreat & I am disposed for the same reason not to go there myself as I should not like to <mee>t the party there. Should they not be at C. Hill I should like to sl<eep> & dine there on Saturday & reach M. Bay on Sunday Mg., but if Mr Farquharson’s family is there we should sleep at Falmouth on Saturday—would you let me know by a note left at Miss Burrows where we shall go early on Saturday if they are at C. Hill– I have spoken to Aikman about the Judgement as the suit of |Wald & Co| is to procure the statement of it from Smith & will either send it to you or bring it with him to M. Bay where he is to be during the Court–

If the bill respecting the Militia now before the House passes |Twisleton| will let you have his military outfit–
