True thanks! I shall expect you & be happy.

One thing remember,—Forster has a heap of engagements, and stays in town while you go away. In any default of him, therefore, I shall expect you, if you please.

1. Dated by RB’s reference to Forster’s and Moxon’s forthcoming visit, previously mentioned in letters 2493 and 2495, both written 19 July 1846 and postmarked 20 July 1846. In letter 2509, postmarked 27 July 1846 (the Monday following this date), RB told EBB that he expected his “visitors nearly directly.”
