My dear Mr Chapman,

You will have received a letter a few days ago concerning the new Edition, and such copies of it as we wished for certain relatives. We have since heard that Mrs Hedley will soon be in London—will you therefore have the kindness to make up the parcel (of all our books) and put it by till she sends for it:—two copies of the new edition to Wimpole St for Geo. Barrett Esq. & Miss Barrett:—and a copy (at once) to John Kenyon Esq. 39 Devonshire Place, Regts P[ark].

Yours very sincerely,

Robt Browning

Publication: NL, pp. 64–65.

Manuscript: Pierpont Morgan Library.

1. Year provided by RB’s reference to his letter of “a few days ago”; that is, letter 3254.
