Dear Sir

I am very glad to find by your note that I may yet hope to see Mrs Browning & yourself[.] I go to Knebworth Tuesday. —If Wednesday should by chance find you both free—pray come then. 4 o C train from Kings X. is always the best to Welwyn thence I am ¾ an hour to Knebworth. —But if Wednesday don’t suit you I shall be probably at Knebworth for some time––& always happy to see you on a day[’]s notice. —The Story’s whom I had asked to meet you cant come—& I shall have but few persons with me. Forster I hope to see Wednesday—& I am going to ask a renowned Clairvoyante. [2] I press an early time for your visit because my son returns to Paris early in Septr.
