Dear Chapman, <We received> your letter duly, & the proofs two days after– [2] These last will be returned to you by the Messenger who leaves to-morrow: but I thought it might be as well to send the enclosed poem [3] at once: it is to be inserted immediately after the [“]Tale of Villafranca” & before the “August Voice”: note; we have no proof of the “Dance” yet—of course: also, note—this is the last poem you will be required to add to the series, so you may calculate exactly.

Thanks for the account– I hope your cold is better–
