Dear Twisleton,

I have just received a word from Milnes to say that I am elected a member of the “Athen[a]eum”: so, thank you heartily. You must make me aware of the decencies of the position to which your kindness has exalted me, should there be any not immediately comprehensible to a novice! But I will call soon & try to see you.

With truest regard to Mrs Twisleton,

Yours faithfully ever

Robert Browning.
