Reading Greek—Hippolytus. A letter from Fanny to Bummy, about engaging Miss Steers.[1]

1. Bummy’s younger sister Frances (1790–1868), wife of Sir Thomas Butler, Bt. (1783–1861), was looking for a governess for her four sons, and Miss Steers had been suggested for the post.
