Thursday. Morning heard Jamie read Willson’s new poems. He read “Horsa,” tempus memorabile!

Went down town to Grocer’s and elsewhere on business.

Mrs Starr King & the Whipples, Algers & Mr Bartol, to tea.

In spite of these interruptions—& pleasure they are too—have found a little time for Dante but not much else.
