Sunday Nov 14th Tomorrow is the anniversary of our wedding day—15 years!!
Today we light the first fire on our library hearth and somehow I feel a little solemnity about it as if it were for a high festival so we call this the wedding day.
Our boxes have all arrived at length from England. The fine portrait of Pope is hung and delights everybody.
It snows just as it did the day we were married. Jamie has been fretting over his books and rearranging them, making room for the new ones.
